Pirate ship Gran Canaria - Timanfaya

Surprise your family and friends by sailing with them on a totally different boat trip. Our Timanfaya Pirate ship, and the whole pirate crew, will make your family and friends´ outing unforgettable.

Timanfaya pirate boat Timanfaya pirate boat tour

We sail from Puerto Rico, hoisting the pirate flag, and will cross the southwest coast of Gran Canaria in search of adventure. Sail along the coast, admiring the rugged landscape of canyons that overlook the sea and the beaches of the Costa de Mogan.

Enjoy the view on deck, feeling the breeze and soaking up the sun, or sit comfortably in our English pub while children play Treasure Hunt, have their faces painted, and draw or colour a pirate adventure.

Gran Canaria pirate ship boat tour for family

Amaze yourself and return to childhood with your children. Collaborate with our crew, making up a small group of buccaneers  while singing pirate songs.

Our crew will ensure you have refreshing drinks available throughout the voyage.

Visit coves and beaches, some only accessible by sea, and drop anchor to dive in crystal clear waters. You can swim, snorkel and see the seabed of the Costa de Mogan.

Fantastic. The boat is big and spacious and the crew is very friendly. There’s enough space to comfortably sunbathe and enjoy the coast. Also, we could swim near Mogan.

Nicole D.March 2020

Great to do with children. We have 2 boys ages 8 and 10, and they had a wonderful time, especially since the crew painted their faces like pirates. My husband and I also really liked the boat and the entire trip.

Laura P.March 2020

Very nice. Although the boat doesn’t navigate with sails, it’s worth it. It’s wide and we could relax and see the coast that went from Puerto Rico to Mogan, full of caves and tiny coves. Swimming in the sea was the icing on the cake.

Chloe L.March 2020

I loved it. The pirate ship tour from Puerto Rico to Mogan was fantastic. Very friendly crew and a spectacular boat.

Lewis A.March 2020

For the entire family. I went with my wife and my 3 children, and we had an unforgettable day. The kids had a lot of fun with the crew and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the boat and of the dip in the sea.

Natalie C.D.March 2020

Worth it. The service of both the hotel pick-up and the crew is very professional and friendly. The ship seemed incredible to me, with quite a lot of space, and everything was so clean. And the ride was great.

Ben A.February 2020

Relaxing. The entire boat ride was very relaxing and the sea was beautiful.

Joe H.February 2020

The trip was too short. It only lasted 3 hours!

Reece C.February 2020

A peaceful day out with friends. A pirate ship, a good time, a beautiful journey and plenty of beer made this trip one of the best moments of our stay in Gran Canaria.

Mia R.February 2020

Recommended. The trip on the pirate ship was great for relaxing and swimming in the sea.

Alexander P.February 2020

Great idea if you are in Puerto Rico. I saw the pirate boat leave from the hotel where I was staying in Puerto Rico and I couldn’t resist enjoying the ride myself. It’s great. I recommend it.

Megan C.February 2020

Fun. I don’t know if I enjoyed it more or if my kids did. Swimming in the sea and enjoying the pirate ship ride are 2 of the best memories of our trip to Gran Canaria.

Rebecca V.February 2020

Good plan for children and adults alike. I went with my family and I don’t know who had a better time, my husband and I or my son.

Luke K.January 2020

Very short. The boat trip was very nice, but to me it seemed expensive for only 3 hours.

Jordan H.K.January 2020

We enjoyed everything. We went with another couple and we loved it. We had a great time. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed swimming in the sea.

Abigail G.January 2020

Great plan. If you are in Playa del Inglés or Maspalomas, they come to your hotel to pick you up and so you don’t have to worry about how you will get to the ship. The trip was very relaxing and the coast was quite pretty.

Eleanor M.January 2020

Nice. The ship is very big and the trip is very relaxing until you reach Mogan. Ideal for sunbathing and going out with a group of friends.

Molly U.January 2020

Relaxing and fun. It gives you time to enjoy the ride on the pirate ship and to relax during the journey to Mogan, and once you’re there, you swim and lounge on the deck to sunbathe on the return to Puerto Rico.

Harry O.January 2020

Perfect to do as a couple. The trip is peaceful, and you can enjoy the sea, the pirate ship and the coast of Gran Canaria. Everything was really beautiful.

Emily H.C.January 2020

Lovely. There are many boats that do tours in Gran Canaria, but I wanted to go on the pirate ship because it seemed to me to be the most spectacular. The service and the trip were great and we had a lovely day.

Jade N.December 2019

A great way to see Mogan and Puerto Rico. They picked us up at the hotel in Meloneras and brought us to Puerto Rico to go on the boat. We saw the entire coast on the way to Mogan, and we got to see Mogan close by while we swam. The ship is large and the ride is worth it.
