Parasailing in Playa del Ingles

Due to the varying wind conditions in Playa del Inglés, we recommend going parasailing at Playa de Taurito or Puerto de Mogán, where the conditions for flying are optimal.

Parasailing from Maspalomas

Maspalomas beach does not have a parasailing service, so the closest option for parasailing is Playa del Inglés. The instructions specify the options available for parasailing in Playa del Inglés, both if you go on your own or if you prefer to hire the transfer service.

Parasailing in Puerto Rico

If you are staying in Puerto Rico, the closest place to go parasailing is Playa de Taurito. If you do not have a vehicle, choose the option to be picked up from your accommodation. And if you have a vehicle, reserve it for the day you want to fly and you can go to Playa de Taurito or Playa del Puerto de Mogan on your own on that same day or any of the 7 days after booking, always between 11:00 a.m. and 15:30.

Parasailing in Taurito and Puerto de Mogan

If you are staying on any of these beaches or are coming by car from another place on the island, you can sail on the day you booked or on any of the 7 subsequent days between 11:00 a.m. and 15:30. Both beaches are very small and you will find the exact locations where you should go in these beaches in the voucher.

You will find us at Playa de Taurito and Playa de Mogan beaches.

If your booking is more than 70 euros, you can request, when booking, pick-up from the hotel if you are located in the southern area of Gran Canaria.

Should I check whether conditions are suitable on the day of my parasailing flight?
Yes. If you are going to the beach on your own, we strongly recommend contacting us or our local partner a few hours before your scheduled flight time. Please call any of the phone numbers shown at the top of your booking voucher to make sure the parasailing activity can take place without any issues.

Are there any restrictions for parasailing?
Parasailing is available from the age of 6. It is not recommended for pregnant women.

Can people in wheelchairs go parasailing?
Yes.

How long does the parasailing flight last?
Approximately 8 minutes.

From what age can you go parasailing?
From 6 years old.

How many people can parasail at the same time?
When booking, you can choose to fly solo, with one companion, or with two companions.

What time of year can you go parasailing?
In Gran Canaria, parasailing is available all year round.

Where does parasailing take place?
Parasailing operates all year round at Taurito and Mogán beaches, and at Playa del Inglés from March to October.

What should you take into account?
If you do not require transport and plan to go on your own to any of the three beaches where parasailing is available, please note that this activity depends on weather conditions. We therefore recommend calling the organiser’s phone number shown at the top of your booking voucher, or contacting us directly on the day of your flight, to confirm where the activity will take place.

If you have booked the activity with transport included, please bring towels and anything you may need to spend some time at the beach, as you may have to wait before or after your flight.

How can I get the photos taken during the flight?
Information about purchasing the photos taken by the staff during the flight will be provided on the boat or at the facilities. OkGranCanaria is not responsible for this additional service.

Where can I store my belongings?
Lockers are available at the facilities for you to store your personal items.

Do you offer hotel pick-up?
We offer free hotel pick-up for bookings over €70 from the areas of Bahía Feliz, San Agustín, Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas, Meloneras, Arguineguín, Puerto Rico – Amadores and Playa del Cura, provided the booking is made at least 24 hours in advance. When booking, select “hotel pick-up” under “additional services” in step 1. In step 2, choose your accommodation area and a reference point so we can confirm the pick-up time and location.

Can I cancel or change my booking?
All cancellations and booking changes must be notified by email.

You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled activity date.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the activity are non-refundable.

If you do not attend the activity, the amount paid at the time of booking will be forfeited.

How much do I need to pay when booking?
For online bookings, 30% of the total price is paid at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable on the day of the activity.

What happens if the company cancels the activity?
If the organising company cancels the activity (mainly due to weather conditions or force majeure) on the day of your booking, we will contact you by email or phone using the details provided at the time of booking to offer alternative options.
