Rent a boat on Gran Canaria and enjoy an unforgettable day with family and friends. Choose between party boats, yachts, sailboats or fishing boats.
Discover the best things to do in Puerto Rico during your stay in Gran Canaria. Puerto Rico offers much more than a charming beach. It is also noted for having, according to various studies, the most hours of sunshine in the world each year, so it is essential to know which leisure activities you can do during your holiday.
During the day, besides going to the beach or enjoying the sun by your hotel’s pool, you can go shopping in numerous shopping centres, taste delicious food in the area’s many restaurants, or enjoy the coast by going on a boat excursion.
Puerto Rico has 2 ports, including Puerto Base, which offers an interesting variety of excursions for you to do. Of all the boat trips in Puerto Rico, the dolphin and whale watching tours are most popular and ideal for any season, no matter the weather. But you can also do an excursion on a pirate boat, or tour the coast up to Puerto de Mogan or, much farther away, to the virgin beach of Güigüi. And if you’re a fan of fishing, you’ll find diverse fishing boats on which you can enjoy a great day. And in Puerto de Mogan, only a few kilometers from Puerto Rico, you can do a submarine tour 20 meters deep.
Also take the opportunity to get to know the nearby Playa de Amadores (Beach of Lovers), just 4 kilometres from Puerto Rico. Or, visit the spectacular Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. Or why not take a trip to Puerto de Mogán, a beautiful urban area known as “little Venice.”
We recommend that you consult all the excursions in Puerto Rico and consult with OkGranCanaria with any questions that may arise.
If you want to get to know the island, from Puerto Rico and Amadores you can also hire different excursions that will allow you to discover Gran Canaria’s most emblematic areas.
You can also enjoy any of the theme parks available in Gran Canaria, or do another aquatic or adventure activity like a jeep tour, or feel like Lawrence of Arabia riding on a camel through the Dunes of Maspalomas.
And if you’re looking to go out at night, Puerto Rico is known for its range of nightlife, with a range of bars, clubs or discotheques on offer. We suggest you to enjoy the best boat parties in Gran Canaria with departures from Puerto Rico.
In summary, Puerto Rico offers a variety of things to do that will make your holiday in Gran Canaria quite enjoyable. Now we’d like to show you the best leisure activities in the area.
Puerto Rico is strategically located, making it the perfect basecamp to explore the rest of the island. Beyond the local coast, you have easy access to an incredible variety of things to do in Gran Canaria. Whether you want to visit the historic capital of Las Palmas, hike the volcanic mountains of Roque Nublo, or explore the lush forests of the north, everything is accessible via our guided tours with hotel pick-up.
The most beautiful part of southern Gran Canaria. It’s nothing like Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés, Meloneras or Puerto Rico. The Port of Mogan is unique, relaxing, and in my opinion the most beautiful place in Gran Canaria along with Teror.
We loved the trip. They picked us up near our hotel and although the journey was a bit long, it was worth it to go. The guided tour through Mogan was very beautiful, with all of the Canals and the ships and the marvellous submarine trip. We saw a ton of fish and a sunken ship. Impressive.
We’ll do it again. Although it was cloudy and there was a bit of surf, we spent 6 pleasant hours on the boat, and one person caught a medregal and another caught a huge tuna.
Relaxing and fun. An experience where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxing trip, good food, swim in the sea, snorkel and paddle (even though I wasn’t good at it), and enjoy magnificent views of the coast.
A nature tour. The guide and the organization were very good and the route was impressive as we were able to enjoy nature and the incredible views of inner Gran Canaria
We went on the boat with very few people, so we were able to lie on the bow and enjoy our excursion to the fullest.
Great tour but we still have not received the photos that we bought after the tour
Great gift for the family. I bought this tour to go on with my husband and two children and it was the best idea ever.
Regular. We didn’t see any dolphins, which was one of our goals. The rest of the trip was fine.
Johnathan our guide and driver called us his ‘family’ he was fantastic and funny and full of knowledge and enthusiasm for his island. the trip was awesome with great views and off road tracks and a nice lunch at a cafe up in the mountains with opportunities to purchase local food and items along the way. fantastic day and value for money
