Description

Excursion around Gran Canaria

The tour starts in the area of Maspalomas – Playa del Inglés towards Puerto de Mogan, where you can visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Gran Canaria.  Known as “Little Venice”, Puerto de Mogan is a romantic, charming village with its Mediterranean-style homes, that do not exceed three stories, decorated with small gardens full of beautiful flowers. Take a walk through the little pathways, alongside the channels and admire the spectacular marina.

On the road to La Aldea you can take pictures of the place known as “Los Azulejos”.  Take a look at the surface of some mountains and distinguish the variety and vividness of the natural colors alongside the mountains.
Excursiones alrededor de la isla de Gran Canaria
Passing through the village of La Aldea, you will find plenty of tomato greenhouses where the best tomatoes of the country are grown.

Continuing the excursion to Agaete, be mesmerized by the stunning views from the winding road, filled with dramatic cliffs and canyons that fall down to the sea.
Excursion por toda Gran Canaria
With a little luck, along the way you may catch a glimpse of Mount Teide, Spain’s highest mountain (3718 metres) located on the neighbouring island of Tenerife.

The tour continues along the North coast.  Notice the strong waves and houses built on the cliffs.  Discover Puerto de las Nieves, a charming and idyllic fishing village.  Fishing is present everywhere: at the monument to the fisherman, the chapel and the facades of the simple houses painted in white and blue.  Take a breath of salty air next to the rough sea with high waves, a different image to that of the southern shores.
Clives of Agaete
You have the opportunity to taste a varied menu (10.50 €) in a restaurant with panoramic views of the beach and the remains of the “Dedo de Dios” (finger of God). This rock formation in the sea is the symbol of Agaete.  Its top was destroyed in 2005 by the effects of the storm “Delta”.
Puerto de las nieves
On your last stop at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, capital of the island, you have time to stroll along the beach of Las Canteras, a magnificent city beach and pride of the Canary people.  Go on a shopping spree in one of the most important commercial centers of the island, or simply enjoy a last coffee before returning to your hotel.

You will be back to your hotel between 17.00 and 18.00 h with the feeling of having a different image of Gran Canaria, knowing more about some of the typical places, its coastline, flora and history.

Incredible cliffs. The entire route is quite gorgeous but I preferred the cliffs between Aldea and Agaete.

Sarah A.May 2023

Good value for the money. Although it’s the cheapest tour around Gran Canaria offered online, based on the testimonials I saw that it was a good tour and booked it. You’re going to pay a lot less and go on the same route as the other tour companies.

Rachel A.May 2023

I recommend it. For the convenience of them picking you up and dropping you off at the hotel, for the tour, for the information that the guide gave us, and for the price, I recommend it.

Laura U.A.May 2023

Good service and beautiful trip. My husband and I were thrilled with the tour of the island and with the treatment of Luis and of Low Cost.

Brandon F.May 2023

Fantastic value for the money. My wife wanted to tour the island and this trip was cheaper than renting a car and doing it ourselves, and we were right to book it. It was more comfortable, they picked us up and dropped us back off at the hotel, and the guide was very friendly and gave us very detailed information during the tour.

Lily O.May 2023

Lovely views. The entire tour has some of the most beautiful views of the coast and the mountains.

Harry A.April 2023

Stunning views. The views of the gorge and the west coast were amazing. We could see Tenerife.

Alice O.April 2023

Worth it. For the service, the tour and the views, it’s highly recommended. I was impressed with Mogan and the scenery on the way to Agaete.

Amelia P.April 2023

Very pretty. We had done a scenic tour of Gran Canaria a couple of days before and we were excited to book this one too in order to finish getting to know the island. They are completely different, I don’t know which I like more, but I think that this has more spectacular views.

Benjamin B.Z.April 2023

Perfect for seeing the island in one day. I think we travelled more than 200 kilometres to tour the island. It was worth every bit to see the views.

Alexander L.D.April 2023

Brillian. Looking online, we saw this same route for 69 euros and for 78 euros, and the guide told us that he also works for other companies and that it is the same route.

Abbie N.April 2023

Worth it. If you go to Gran Canaria, it’s worth taking the opportunity to spend a day touring the island.

Mia F.April 2023

Very good. The tour of the island was worth it to see Mogan and for the views of the coast.

BethanyMarch 2023

Beautiful but a little slow. Although the entire tour is worth it for the views and for seeing Mogan and Agaete, so many hours in the bus and all the curves in the road made it seem tiresome.

Amrit H.March 2023

Lovely trip. I loved the places we went through and the scenery. We could see to Teide with the clear weather.

Grace R.March 2023

Perfect for getting to know Gran Canaria. We went through the gorges, explored Mogan, San Nicolas, Agaete and a bit of Las Palmas and enjoyed views along the entire coast of the island.

Harry J.A.March 2023

Beautiful but a little tiresome. I loved what we saw and the places we travelled through, but for me it seemed slow, and the curves in the road leading to Agete made me dizzy.

Daisy I.March 2023

Quite lovely. It was such a clear day that we could see Teide.

Kevin J.March 2023

Highly recommended. The guide was very informative and friendly. The tour is ideal to see the different parts of the island in comfort with stop off points on the way. Money well spent I think.

Suja T.March 2023

Fantastic, the tour guide Tom was very organised and it was great how he spoke so many languages! So talented! The bus driver was great and we went through some windy roads! Would recommend if you want to get a good overview of this beautiful and varied island. Thank you!

JosephFebruary 2023

Great value. They gave us a full, clockwise tour of the island, getting to know the most important coastal towns and a bit of Las Palmas. Both the guide, the bus and the tour were fantastic. The tour is very reasonably priced. What I liked most were the cliffs.

Joe M.A.February 2023

Fantastic. I went with my partner and from the time we got on the bus, it was worth it. We saw Mogan, La Aldea, Agaete, etc. In comfort and enjoyed the views of Gran Canaria’s coast.

Rhys C.February 2023

Worthwhile. Both for the organization, the friendliness and information of the guide Carlos, and for the views, it’s worth touring the island with this company.

Louis V.February 2023

Excellent service. The tour was very nice, but what impressed me was that my husband and I arrived at the stop 10 minutes late. Instead of having the bus wait for us or leave us behind to miss the tour, they picked us up by car and brought us to another meeting place so as not to inconvenience the other customers. Fantastic. Thank you Mikaela.

Roxana IlieFebruary 2023

It was a lovely trip, the guide, Manuel, was very kind and well prepared and the scenery was wonderful! Definitely worth your time and money. I totally recommend it!

Sean P.February 2023

I had a great day on the Big island Tour and Tom our Guide was really was very prepared and gave us a lot of information. It was a long day ,but it was worth the time and money. I really enjoyed Agaete and Las Palmas.

Steve W.February 2023

Although this tour is value for money at can have its drawbacks. personally i don't think this is ideal for young children especially when parents do not consider other passengers and return late to the coach at every stop off. unfortunately we were the last 2 picked up and the only 2 seats left which were in the middle of the back row so no window this spoiled our enjoyment
