Discover things to do in Puerto de Mogan during your holiday in Gran Canaria.
Puerto de Mogan, also known as Little Venice thanks to its canals, is one of the most beautiful and popular locations on the island. This little fishing town and harbor was built in the 80s and is famous for its streets lined with white two-story houses whose balconies are adorned with flowers that stand out on the white background.
This modern town is also known for its charming beach and luxurious sports dock, where some of the best boats of the island are located.
All of this, along with its shops and a variety of cuisine, makes Puerto de Mogan one of the most-visited places on the island.
However, there are many other things to do in Puerto de Mogán if you stay here.
From Mogán, there are many routes and tours from Mogan for getting to know Gran Canaria and its main attractions: Teror, Arucas, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Dunes of Maspalomas, Cloud Rock or Fataga, among others.
You can also go on other types of excursions in other vehicles such as a buggy safari or a jeep excursion.
But in addition to getting to know the island on land, you can also enjoy its coast thanks to different boat tours during the day, with departures from the docks of Mogan, Puerto Rico or Pasito Blanco. And you can do a submarine adventure in Puerto de Mogan, one of the top things do do in Gran Canaria according to our clients.
If you like shopping, we also recommend you to visit the Mogan Market on Fridays, one of the main markets in the South of Gran Canaria.
Also at Puerto de Mogan beach there are some water activities that you can do such as parasailing, jet ski rental, jet ski safari or rent a kayak to visit some of the caves nearby.
All of this makes Puerto Mogan an excellent place for enjoying your holiday as a couple, with friends, alone or with family.
Although it is tempting to stay in this picturesque village, we recommend exploring further. If you are wondering what to do in Gran Canaria beyond the coast, check out our complete guide. From the lush rainforests in the north to the historic district of Vegueta, there is a wide range of experiences waiting for you, and most of our island tours offer direct pick-up from Puerto de Mogan.
Relaxing day. The camel ride around the valley was very relaxing and spending the day at the ranch surrounded by nature was the ideal complement.
what a fabulous experience, we booked the day before online and found the whole experience great, great value for money, Maria our guide was fantastic, as was the captain and his staff, we saw dolphins and sea turtles and enjoyed a small tour of the coast. recommended to all, we are going again next year.
Excellent value- We loved the dolphin trip and saw two pods of dolphins. It was wonderful to see them in their natural environment.
Good service. We went there one day, but we didn’t see anything, so they gave us a ticket for another day when we got see lots of dolphins.
Excellent trip for low price. We could see different and beatiful landscapes Gran Canaria. The tour guide is very nice and knowledgeable. Lunch in Balcon De Zamora was very exciting with this unforgettable landscape. If someone looking some adrenalinę, it can be founded during driving along a narrow route over the canyon. I recommend it to others.
The best thing is they give what they offer, and they don’t make you waste your time or re-think your reservation. The boat is also very comfortable and there’s enough space for all customers.
Good quality. They picked us up at the hotel, we were able to see the Port of Mogan and the icing on the cake was the submarine ride, which made us feel like we were in an aquarium, seeing so many fish and a sunken ship.
Although Taurito was far from our hotel in Meloneras, they came to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. The beach is very calm and the circuit has very few waves. Worth it.
My partner and I really enjoyed the catamaran.
Well organized and good service. We were picked up at the hotel, did a tour similar to the Gran Canaria summits and dropped off at the hotel again.
