Maspalomas Dunes, Barranco de Guayadeque and Puerto de Mogan tour

Embark on a single excursion from Las Palmas to discover the three most beautiful and emblematic places in the south of the island.

que ver en Mogán

Enjoy the tour comfortably, in a small group of up to 30 people, accompanied by an official guide who will offer interesting information about each of the places we visit and about the island in general.

Puerto de Mogan

The first great attraction of the tour is Guayadeque Barranco, one of the most visited and beloved ravines by the residents of Gran Canaria. The beauty of the ravine and its famous Canarian meal cave restaurants are more than enough reasons to explore it.

Barranco de Guayadeque

Our stop at the ravine will be at the Tagoror restaurant, one of the most prestigious restaurants known for its tasty meals, its cozy dining rooms inside the cave, and its pleasant views of the ravine. While we will only be there for a few minutes to cool off, it is worth exploring its facilities.

Restaurante cueva TagororFrom the Tagoror restaurant, we will take a walk around La Tierra mountain to observe the best panoramic view of the ravine and enter one of the cave houses where families still live nowadays.

Guayadeque Ravine

Note that we will only be traversing the most popular part of the ravine, the first few kilometers of its 25 km length.

Our second stop is at the Mirador de las Dunas de Maspalomas lookout, located in the Riu Palace Maspalomas Hotel. From this viewpoint, contemplate over 400 hectares of dunes, up to 15 meters high, which border the 6 km of the shore of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles beaches together.

Dunas de Maspalomas

From the Mirador de las Dunas, we will head towards Puerto Rico, another major tourist center in southern Gran Canaria. In Puerto Rico, you have the option to decide how to get to Puerto de Mogan, our last major stop on the tour. You can choose to continue by bus or take a ferry ride along the coast from Puerto Rico to Mogan.

Our advice is to take advantage of the boat ride. For just 7.5 euros, enjoy a pleasant 30-minute trip along the coast while you admire cliffs, sea caves, and some of the most popular beaches and tourist areas on the island such as Puerto Rico, Amadores, Tauro, or Taurito before arriving in Puerto de Mogán.

Puerto de Mogán is probably the most beautiful tourist urbanization in southern Gran Canaria. You’ll have almost two hours of free time to check it out. Stroll through its streets decorated with plants and flowers, walk around its sports dock, and eat at one of its restaurants with sea views.

But if you want to take advantage of the good climate of this area of the island to enjoy the sun and the beach, we recommend you to bring a bathing suit, towel and clothes to change. You have even time to rent a jet ski, make a parasailing flight, rent a kayak, or even do a submarine dive. If you plan to do any of these activities, read all the information and contact us before booking.

Costa mogan

At 3:45 pm we will leave Puerto de Mogán back to the capital of the island, where you should be back in your pick-up point between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. We hope that, once you are in your accommodation, feel that you have enjoyed an extraordinary day exploring the most outstanding places in southern Gran Canaria.

Recommendations:

  • Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather forecast in Maspalomas, and bring a hat and sunscreen.
